The Collaboration Band is an extraordinary gathering of veteran musicians dedicated to the authentic playing of soul, r&b and Motown music. Each member brings years of experience and dedication to this music - each member is a master of his craft.
Ms. Verceal Whitaker's soulful vocals and great stage presence. Gives her the ability to connect with the audience in a commanding way.; Willie Miller lends the big pocket on the drums, plus crafty lead and background vocals; Brad Brown adds his tasty keyboards and Joe some phenomenal Cocker style vocals; Alonzo Zo Smith provides that funky bottom end coupled with some down-home blues vocals.
Steve La Valley is holding down the lead & rhythm guitar hot licks along with his excellent raspy, vocal technics.
We’ve played on the biggest and smallest stages, for thousands and for handfuls. We know what works, what doesn’t, and how to get the party started and keep it going. This is music meant to be heard and felt, especially when the Collaboration Band plays it. Oh you’re gonna feel it guaranteed. We are a Motown and R & B band, (check out our song list!) It's what we do, so if you're looking for a night of country or rock, there's other bands that do that. That being said, we are versatile musicians who can play different genres of music. If you have a song request for a different variety of music. Other than what we do. We would do our best to accommodate the client to ensure their event goes over well, all we need is the client's request in advance,
